Essay comes from the French word essayer, which means to try, essai means to attempt. It is this original meaning of the word that seems to loosen it up a little and allows us to take it as a reference to a non-committal piece of work that is just a way of testing ourselves by putting our thoughts together. Unfortunately, all that really remains of the original meaning of the word in writing is that it gives more freedom to the writer than other genres of text. A good essay has a clear idea, a logic, a completeness, and a distinctive and original style of expression. Essays can be very varied: journalistic, personal, literary, scientific, as well as varied in subject matter - geographical travel, historical information, cultural, etc.

The question is how to reach a level where a clear idea can be combined with seeming casualness, rigorous logic with spontaneous personal insights, and where buy argumentative essay today. In a short (one or two paragraph) introductory paragraph, introduce the topic and the problem of the essay and, at the end of the essay, present a thesis statement related to the subject. Try to arouse the reader's interest and create intrigue.

The main body

Although the form of the essay is quite free, there are a few necessary structural elements of the main body (text).
Stick to the plan and to the main thesis and its arguments, and connect the paragraphs coherently.
Make sure that all arguments lead to conclusions and a summary.
Each new idea is written in a new paragraph (about 100 words) or several paragraphs. The sequence of ideas can be causal derivative, comparative or simply thematic, e.g. to talk about the same object historically in the first paragraph (several paragraphs), aesthetically in the second, ethically in the third, or existentially in the first, socially in the second, culturally in the third, locally in the first, globally in the second, personally in the third.

Each paragraph should have a connection to the next paragraph. If the arguments from several different perspectives are to be evaluated, the arguments for and against are summed up before reaching a conclusion.

Reconcile the key statements, ideas and their presentation, checking what has taken centre stage or the right idea. Has it been overshadowed by secondary thoughts and less significant paragraphs?

Check the length (can be quite short to medium (about 2 000 words), i.e. 20 paragraphs, sometimes longer essays). It is recommended that unnecessary sentences are discarded.
