to me, it is simply shocking that they build CIQ and created a ferry service from PH to Karimun and PH to Batam.
But to Harbourfront? it's okay. this can wait....
no wonder legoland and other parks are getting quiet
Hi guys (or ladies), did you hear any news on the harbourfront-puteri harbour link? This, to me is the next real milestone: as third gateway to Johor, Malaysia.
It is only in developer(UEM)'s interest to push this but the market is too quiet.
Neither in Singapore nor Johor Sultan's interest.
Sad.
Most of the signs point to gerbang nusajaya (they shld also rename this place?)as the location of the hsr station of iskandar puteri. But isn't it too far from the rest of johor? It's like 30km to bandar johor bahru (i won't mention pasir gudang or desaru) and 12km to kota iskandar...
"High-density developments could create abandoned communities. If they (developers) can't sell the units or they are sold to parties who are merely investors looking to rent them out, they can become abandoned. That's my concern. I pray hard it doesn't happen." Mr Lim Kang Hoo, IWH chief...
Pictures taken yesterday
Teega Tower A is now at 19th-20th storey compared to previously 16th-17th in Feb
Pinetree building up in picture 5.
Most worried about Encorp (picture 4), it seems no movement since February when an earlier picture was taken.
Encorp owners please whip some asses...
For owners of apartments (unlike service residences), I strongly urge them to use their units as either self stay or vacation homes. You wouldn't want a 'tenant from hell' to wreak havoc to your unit and bring down the standard of the whole development.
Exactly...competition is heating up from Princess Cove (JB), Danga Bay and now Forest City.
Successful launches for all PH projects is key!
We shouldn't clobber each other!
Impressive.
I see foreign diplomats who wishes to lobby with Kota Iskandar Johor government officials on a long term basis would want to secure a long term service apartment lease at nearby Somerset Puteri Harbour.
hi Dfris,
amazing, you even have a 10-year Masterplan in place!
I heard of horror stories in the past of Singapore property owners in Malaysia: tenant change locks; refuses to move, refuses to pay rent; running away with furniture; anything goes...unintended pun.
So I will most likely (B) leave...
there's some old school tit-for-tat going on between Malaysia and Singapore but both sides are fast realizing that competition is not simply cross-border (unlike in the old days).
As its space rans out, Singapore needs a hinterland and an affordable labor force to continue to enjoy the effects...
very nice, thanks for the pic BT.
no need to rush, I prefer quality workmanship
I was curious, what do all you guys plan to do with your Puteri Harbour home once it's complete.
(A) RENT IT OUT TO PAY FOR MORTGAGE
(B) LEAVE IT EMPTY SO NO TENANT 'FROM HELL' COULD TRASH THE PLACE
(C) SELL IT...
