Cooleo's vote for Worst coffee in Singapore - Cafe Nova (Acceptable?)

Recently, two stoopid office girls from my company decided to try something 'different' and bought a new coffee brand for the pantry - Cafe Nova.

Saw the cover and felt that it look cartoonish.

Just made a cup of coffee yesterday and it tasted like shit! It is very bitter and tasteless. Prob taste like vomit. Anyone try this shit before? :mad:

On the other spectrum, Old Town coffee (Hazelnut flavour) is excellent!

I prefer Old Town Classic.

I used to buy Suzuki and brew it with my Japanese siphon thingy, but since it broke, have no choice but to steep it with my regular coffee maker. One day at a food fair I smelled a heavenly coffee aroma and followed the smell to the stall. I was surprised to see it originated from a 3-in-1 coffee, G7 from Vietnam. I tasted it, tasted as good as it smells. Costs about SGD10.00 for 50 sachets, about $0.20 each. The box pack of 20 sachets costs more.

I still buy them in Phnom Penh now, costs USD2.00 for 20.

No doubt there are better coffees around, but for the price, convenience and the aroma, it's unbeatable.
 
i heard g-7 or whatever the brand ....the vietnam brand is good...

bcos my opik have the perculator, so i am spared from drinking instant coffee...sorry dun get my msg the wrong way, i am not showing off here...
 
its actually by local brand super coffeemix. i bought once when i had to go back for ICT. i threw the whole pack away after making a cup.
 
cannot make it lah that Cafe Nova...i prefer my coffee to be less in sugar..such as CappaRoma

Bro...I used to take that before until they started changing the flavour. Was tulan and send email to their sales office and someone promised to exchange. Came over to my place and did the trade and all was fine. It happened again after buying from Cold Storage and Shop & Save. This time I went to River Valley and bought all their stocks dated before the change. Since them all new stocks tastes different so I gave up drinking G7. Now taking in Barako Coffee from Philippines which a friend buys for me.

2. no bad!
3. now, i am doing this "trio gold" moccona from thailand.
4. to me, it is super and affordable!
