Would a Singaporean Chinese help a Singapore Malay if he is beaten up by a PRC FT?

Temasek review carried a story about a PRC man beating up a Malay after an accident caused by the PRC. The PRC had boasted about it in a forum for new citizens.

What do our local Chinese Singaporeans think? Should the PRC rage be tempered by our saving graces?

If both are males, i will surely help my fellow Singaporean (provided not from PAP). If both are chiobu, it depends who is prettier and who I think will be more appreciative.

Re: Would a Singaporean Chinese help a Singapore Malay if he is beaten up by a PRC FT

I will help a fellow Sporean and whack that bloody Ah Tiong back to his shit hole in China... I would love it more if the aggressor is an Ah Neh from India..

After helping the chap, I will ask him who he voted for in the GE.. If he says that he had voted for the PAP, then its my turn to give him a good beating...

But what peeved me off is that this scum Ah Tiong is bragging about of his exploits and putting down Sporeans in that forum for the PRCs..

Temasek Review did exposed this scum's picture on their site.... just one look at his Yaya arrogant face and you'll want to give that Ah Tiong bastard a perfect left hook on his bloody jaw..

Your reply deserves to be the Model Answer for this discussion.

The influx of our "wonderful foreign talents", especially those who behave like barbarians in public, has made me come to a wonderful realisation.

I am not a racist, but I am most certainly a nationalist.

In the event of a dispute between a foreigner and a Singaporean, whether he is Chinese, Malay, Indian or Eurasian, I'll take the side of the Singaporean 99% of the time, unless the Singaporean is obviously, blantantly, obnoxiously in the wrong. ;)

In the event of doubt, take the side of the Singaporean. :o

In fact, I have already done so in real life several times and in public places, where both parties were strangers to me. :D

I am chinese Singaporean.
I was ever witness to a gang of local bengs whacked a local mat in orchard road.....
There were 2 gangs clashing and the mat's friends had ran off leaving the lone mat whacked by the gang of bengs.
Initially I had joined the crowd to watch the fight but after that mat got gang up by the group, I stepped in and stop them as I felt it was enough.
The bengs felt I should not have sided the mat as I am Chinese but left anyway.
I tended to the injured Malay guy and called for an ambulance, his friends came back to thanked me and said they were surprised that I had stood up for his friend.

Another time I was in a cab when it had an accident with a Malaysia plated motorbike.
The 2 guys and another 2 friends in another bike argued with the cabby and started assaulting him (all chinese including cabby).
I joined in the meelee as the cabby was an old uncle and he was outnumbered and beaten with helmets....a passing car of a group made up fellow Indian singaporeans joined in to help not long after.

For my experience, singaporeans regardless of race would generally stand together against foreigners....newly minted citizens from china and India not included.

yes..............is ah Neh from India then it's a no-brainer..............

if Ah Tiong vs Malay............i try to gauge who's like to be in the wrong and then help the ''good'' guy

Re: Would a Singaporean Chinese help a Singapore Malay if he is beaten up by a PRC FT

Er...first must confirm right? before any whacking. Pinoy, indon, nepali and etc also looked like malay, If Singapore malay lay kay, cannot help lah, if foreigner lay kay (unreasonable) sure whack the foreigner first then call police.
Having said that, this type of situation (exchange punches) mostly happened very fast and both parties will run separate ways. How to consider to apply empathy, apathy, sympathy & etc. he...he...

Re: Would a Singaporean Chinese help a Singapore Malay if he is beaten up by a PRC FT

Er...first must confirm right?

Of course, the moment they open their mouths, I can differentiate a pinoy from a local malay and an ah tiong from a local chinese. Then you know who I will support. ;)

For FT Indians and local Indians, my SG Indian friend taught me this, just ask them who is Suriamuthi. Just in case they are younger, ask them who is Subramani. :D

Please don't ask them who is Nathan, they will know. :o

If you wanna test these Indian FTs further, ask them also about S Rajagopal, our Spore Lion footballer of the 70s who is famous for his deadly banana kicks..:D

Take off my hat to you. Glad to see that we are indeed a nation that came out from the same smelter. One has to be fair and we should also know our roots.

It is heartening to see so many bros standing up for our local Mats against the flood of foreign trash.

We need to protect our minority bros from being bullied by these barbarians from China. India included. With our local Mats, life went a long way from kampong days.

Agree with you on this mate... :)

Once had this Malay chap as my NS buddy. Took a rap for me and my platoon mates back then.. And for that he was put on Guard Duty by this fucktard Lt on a weekend which was cruelly on his Birthday.. To make amends for his ''sacrifice'', me and the platoon smuggled beers and ciggies for him while he was doin Guard Duty on his Birthday. Happened 13 years ago but the incident still lingers on my mind each time I went for reservist duty.

Sporeans must not be bullied by these Foreign thrashes... S'pore belongs to all of us and not to these scums from India and China.

Re: Would a Singaporean Chinese help a Singapore Malay if he is beaten up by a PRC FT

Thanks for starting this thread. Very encouraging. I always wondered.

And will relate something that I saw years ago. Was visiting a factory and suddenly all hell broke lose. One of the workers, a local chinese had slipped fell and his leg ended up in a tube with hot tar or something. Everyone tried to help but this guy was screaming with pain. The fire brigade turned up and the men, nearly all Malays jumped straight in without hesitation. They even out their hand in and naturally injured themselves.

Since then I noticed that when there is an accident or incident, the Malays will be front and centre ready to help. Note the hit and run by the romanian diplomat. One of the best witness was a malay chap who rushed from the coffeeshop to help. Very civic minded.

I have more of such stories...
Once I had a fight with an ah tiong in a disco...policemen came....a Malay with 2 Chinese....the Malay SSG was in charge....basically I was in the wrong but after hearing both versions of statements...the Malay SSG actually told the ah tiong to fuck off....the Indian and Chinese Singaporean bouncers statements probably also helped me.

That was one of few instances I felt united as singaporeans :D

Re: Would a Singaporean Chinese help a Singapore Malay if he is beaten up by a PRC FT

Old Man should sit up and listen! Local Singaporean Chinese WILL defend and protect Singaporean Malays and Indians against injustices and bullying tactics of China Chinese and also India Indians. There is no better show of solidarity and symbol of successful integration and unity amongst the locals.

The PAP govt shld consider it as a back slap compliment that its loose FT policy has at last done something positive for Singapore - that of engendering hatred and dislike for FTs and an instinctive feeling for the local minorities. But no prizes.

I remember hearing World War 2 stories by my late History teacher of some Malay families shielding and sheltering the Chinese from the invading Japanese army.. And the Chinese protecting some Malays during the racial riots..

I missed the old Malaysia Cup days where everyone of us are United as One supporting our Lions... You see the Chinese, Malays, Indians, Eurasians flocking the old Kallang Stadium doing that famous Kallang Roar.. Even our football team then was a mixture of all races.. David Lee, Lim Tong Hai, Sundram, Fandi...

Ahh...the Good Old Days where there were less Ah Tiongs and Indian Ah Nehs around.:)
