Seems like the WP strategy after winning is to shy away from media attention and just work the ground hard.

This is probably frustrating the PAP bec they are waiting for them to slip up in a big and public way.

All WP candidates crossed 40%. Even PAP couldn't match that with Desmond Choo failing to cross 40% at Hougang.

And it did help PM Lee to start listening to the people. But I doubt DC was a sacrificial lamb, more of PAP has run out of quality candidates. As seen in tPL and FMH.

True also. DC just do his NS and ORD. FMH is streetsmart enough to STFU after first sign of trouble. TPL is dumbest PAP candidate I've ever seen in my life.

FMH was lucky because she was not in a 'hot' GRC. Imagine if she was fighting for Aljunied or B-TP, I can expect much screw-up and adding her colourful history at SCB, it will be the biggest disaster for PAP. No wonder they place her in Jurong GRC.
