Was her murder and LHL's crap linked? Who knows? Who can prove anything? Who can find any direct evidence ever ?

But if I remember correctly, there was a video on the Mumbai terrorist attack and it seemed like the terrorists knew they had a Singaporean among their captives and that Singapore has taken a strong stand against the terrorists.

Notwithstanding all these, use your common sense.

The terroists were cold blooded killers, they had indiscriminately shot dead many innocent people, mere "passers-by" who happened to be in the terrorists' path to the ultimate targets. At the hotel, the terrorists shot dead many people who would move. They went from room to room to look for people to kill. This is a known fact.

Given this scenario, do you think it's damn clever to go on the mass media and say something to provoke the terrorists some more? Sure, you may argue that the terrorists would have shot their captives anyway, but why take the chance? What good can you possibly achieve with all that bravado when other world leaders whose fellow coutrymen were also held captive kept quiet?
