" to build a democratic society, based on Justice, so as to achive happines, prosperity & progress for our nation" in case we have forgotten the words to our pledge...
Good observation. Not a fan of them but their actions is understandable, I'm not surprised they object to direct online confrontation of MPs.
....based on justice & equality...They get a 'minority' representation in the GRC, and yet the 'minority' can not tahan their own 'minority'...

:p
this is funny. so childish.
where is GMS ?
....based on justice & equality...
Think the thread is very misleading. I just read the article, the guy was questioned by the police, yes but he wasn't arrested
Also he seem to have made some stupid remarks which included the words "rally together" and "burn" which doesn't exactly sound smart if we put it this way. THis was what caused the entire investigation in the first place. If anyone knows which comment the article is talking about please post it here
Your Ulu Kueh good friend is an ex poodle, you better be careful, he might be a spy, you better stop questioning YOG atheletes also, LOL :p:pAnyone in this forum kena asked to drink kopi ??

There is nothing wrong with hating YOG or anything related to the PAP. The issue is that the phrase, “burn the minister” was used. Of course the PAPies are scared because one of their own, MP Ong Seng Heng, got burned by a Singaporean. TO us it may be trivial but the PAP ministers are really afraid of being hurt by the public. Of course, if they were real politicians out to help the people then they wouldn’t be so afraid but they seem only interested in other matters such as ensuring that FTs are well taken care off.
Don’t be afraid to speak your mind but be mindful of what you post especially words or phrases or sentences that may seem to incite violence towards a group of people who are paranoid.
<!-- / message -->YOG: Singaporean questioned by police over online remarks

By Benson Ang, The New Paper, 25 August 2010
He had posted a number of comments on Facebook about the Youth Olympic Games (YOG).
But Mr Abdul Malik Mohammed Ghazali, 27, may have gone too far with a recent posting on a Facebook group which says it is against the organizing committee of the YOG because of several issues.
Unhappy with a series of incidents connected with the Games, Mr Malik allegedly said it was time to hold Dr Vivian Balakrishnan, the Minister for Community, Youth and Sports (MCYS), responsible.
Mr Malik was arrested by police yesterday and is being investigated for his online postings.
Mr Malik, a project executive with a construction company, told The New paper that three plain clothes police officers came to his workplace in Bukit merah at 11am yesterday.
He said over the phone: “The police took my statement. They were concerned with a comment I posted online and focused on certain words.”
He was referring to a posting made last Wednesday. It referred to a recent incident in which 21 YOG staff and volunteers suffered from food poisoning.
Mr Malik posted a comment written in capital letters saying that the incident showed it was time to “burn” the minister.
In the same posting, he also called on the public to “rally together”.
