Squat without weight first. Gradually increase weight. Squat against wall can also. Do calf raise holding weight too. I not expert. Don't later say I anyhow or kaypoh.

There is once I do squat can go down cannot come up. Need to understand already middle-aged certain things can't rush. Be mindful of injury. During running i used to do shuttle run Uturn which I hurt my knees. The sudden twist and change of movement. Ask yourself what is your goal ? To lose weight , to prevent muscle loss or ?.....u 50plus is no joke some injuries might be permanent.

Why need run further? If u want lose weight run far. If u want strength do interval running . This was how I trained kids. Now they more expert.

Go to a stadium go run 15 rounds outer round 6km. That is real 6km.

Go run stadium interval training run 6 rounds. Run 1 round below 2min this is zone 3. Rest 2 mins then repeat again for 6 rounds. U think u can ? This is interval running train for lactic acid tolerance.

Base on what u said earlier all these are peanuts. U should go iron man not even hyrox.

I not being bad or mean. I really wanna help. Share some experience .But some things just don't add up.

I really got 练过的。also can't reach his standard. Zone 4......
