As much as I like QT, if you watched Shaw Bros Wu Xia revenge films form the 70s, you will see QT as a phony...btw the Star Wars OT and Prequel films is about revenge and redemption as well

Ironically, tarantino's best script was the one he didn't direct: True Romance. Nothing came close, not Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Django Unchained or even Kill Bill. Jackie Brown was his weakest feature, period.

haf not watched true romance yet, but i do enjoy from dusk till dawn, in which he iz oso ze writer n lead. i beg 2 differ on ur view on jackie brown though.

i will gif him full credit 4 introducing a new generation of movie goers (like myself) 2 kung fu n spaghetti western films.

his revenge theme films where ze good guyz win in ze end can b oddly satisfying.

This one got him his first break but I would still ranked Pulp Fiction as top. So Roger Avary cannot be discounted. Just like Goh Keng Swee to LKY

arguably ze best movie opening ever. christoph waltz carried ze movie thru but upon repeated watching, u couldn’t help but feel it didn’t age 2 well. gorgeous female leads though.
