Malaysia Weighs Casino License to Revive Forest City​

Malaysia is in early discussions with tycoons on opening a casino in Forest City, people familiar with the matter said, in a bid to revive the beleaguered $100 billion property project that counts the country’s monarch as one of its shareholders.

Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim met Berjaya Corp. founder Vincent Tan and Genting Group’s Lim Kok Thay last week at the development on the southern coast of Malaysia near Singapore

Sultan desperate to get new investors to replace country garden.
 
I don't have any good solution to Sultan's woo.
 
Unless sultan get Johor to break out of Malaysia. But sultan don't have the brain and resources to run Johor as a country.

So he should be stuck with Sultan of Federation of Malaysia.for a long time.

Five centuries ago, it was called Johor Empire. But Anwar so bro with him now, I don't think he wanna secede

These Malaysian-Chinese businessmen exploit the locals and nations resources, bribe the royalties and politicians. Sultan will need to work with the Malaysian Chinese. Genting and Naga owns casinos all over the world. He is also good friend with Bejaya.
 
They should just setup branch of KK park there. Many gullible Singaporeans here.

Exactly...
You travel to Johor nowadays. You will see a lot of development and improvement project all over the city area and yeah. So the maintenance drainage infrastructure has been regularly been updated and upgraded. I know I is using the resources of Malaysia to actually upgrade the states infrastructure.

There's no incentive for the state of Johor to secede.

It's crazy to open casino in Forest city which is mainly a residential area with thousands of 'potential' occupants.
