that's not much of a secret... more a matter of trial and error. trust me, I've had to backwards engineer a lot of recipes.they say the secret is in the drying/aging process

For me, this CNY thing has never been the same since they outlawed fire crackers. I have some chinese blood flowing through my veins, so I enjoyed CNY decades back. The sound of the bang bang bang, the smell of the black gun power and smoke, so shiok!

Was around the neighborhood earlier and I can hear “dong dong dong chiang” songs already, saw some lunar new year goodies on display and can’t help but tried some.
