ZION ROAD CHAR KWAY TEOW

Actually the CKT there is way overrated. Too dry for my taste.

It's one of the better ones in that region. It's better to err on the side of dryness. Super wet ones, you might as well be eating hor fun.

Liddat much cheaper to eat those morning economic fried kway teow mee. Moist CKT turns me on.

nearby hong lim there is the famous outram park char kway teow.

guess there will be a CKT war coming soon.
I personally believe there's really no need for any CKT war. As long as there's generous amount of lard, it's likely to be good. The only differentiator is whether you like it wet or dry.
Just stay away from those stalls that uses vegetable oil. Eating this kind of CKT is like eating Chendol without gula melaka, totally pointless.

Marine parade ckt standard got drop? The corner stall right if i remember correctly

You want moist ckt, go to jiu hu and get malay version.

There's another CKT stall at Smith Street Chinatown Hawker Centre called Hill Street CKT, always long queue. The CKT is nice ,not over-fried.
