Someone will bring up recent wars in Middle East, in war will have casualties. SAF also involves in Afghan.

Singapore Armed Forces Concludes Deployment in Afghanistan

With the Afghanistan National Security Forces (ANSF) in the final stages of taking over full security responsibility for Afghanistan from the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF), the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) has concluded its deployments in Afghanistan. Chief of Army Major-General (MG) Ravinder Singh, Commander of Australian forces in the Middle East MG Michael Peter Crane and Commander Regional Command South MG Robert B. Abrams were present at the completion ceremony held on 22 Jun 2013 at the Multinational Base Tarin Kowt located in Oruzgan.

As part of his visit, MG Singh also called on Commander ISAF General (GEN) Joseph Dunford in Kabul. During the meeting, MG Singh expressed his appreciation to the ISAF for the support rendered to SAF troops in the past six years of the SAF's operations in Afghanistan. GEN Dunford said, "The Singapore Army has been a valuable contributor to the ability of the Afghans to take the lead; from training their artillery forces to supporting us with our intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities, to assisting us in our strategic communications, to the medical and dental support. All those contributions by Singapore have truly made a difference."

Speaking after meeting with members of the SAF's Imagery Analysis Team (IAT), MG Singh said, "The SAF's deployment in Afghanistan has been one of the longest and most wide-ranging overseas deployments for us. Our soldiers have consistently demonstrated a high level of professionalism and commitment in carrying out their duties. Our international partners speak highly of the SAF as a ready and reliable partner. We are grateful for this opportunity to contribute to the global fight against terrorism and help the Afghan people. The deployments have also allowed the SAF to gain valuable operational experience." Captain Jason Kwek, member of the IAT, added, "The experience of being operationally deployed is like no other. Over the past months, we worked closely with troops from the United States and Australia and forged many friendships too."

The SAF has deployed close to 500 personnel to Afghanistan since May 2007 as part of Singapore's contributions to the multinational stabilisation and reconstruction efforts there. Operating as part of the ISAF, SAF personnel have contributed their expertise in humanitarian assistance and reconstruction efforts, force protection, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance as well as the training of the ANSF.

Prejudice is not correct, all the violences and intolerances are embeded and promoted by the Quran and Hadith---Pray, Kill, Pray, Kill, Pray, Kill, Pray, Kill,
Pray, Kill, Pray, Kill, Pray, Kill

Kafirs are the worst of beasts and lowest thing that a person can be.

Allah's Apostle said, "The blood of a Muslim who confesses that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and that I am His Apostle, cannot be shed except in three cases: In Qisas for murder, a married person who commits illegal sexual intercourse and the one who reverts from Islam (apostate) and leaves the Muslims."

— Sahih al-Bukhari, 9:83:17, see also Sahih Muslim, 16:4152, Sahih Muslim, 16:4154

Ali burnt some people and this news reached Ibn 'Abbas, who said, "Had I been in his place I would not have burnt them, as the Prophet said, 'Don't punish (anybody) with Allah's Punishment.' No doubt, I would have killed them, for the Prophet said, 'If somebody (a Muslim) discards his religion, kill him.'"

A man embraced Islam and then reverted back to Judaism. Mu'adh bin Jabal came and saw the man with Abu Musa. Mu'adh asked, "What is wrong with this (man)?" Abu Musa replied, "He embraced Islam and then reverted back to Judaism." Mu'adh said, "I will not sit down unless you kill him (as it is) the verdict of Allah and His Apostle."

Iraq War Raises Suspicion of New 'Crusade'

A M M A N , Jordan, March 31, 2003 -- The idea that the West, particularly the Bush administration, is pursuing a war against Islam again may be growing in the Muslim world.

Arab television networks have been broadcasting bloody images of the aftermath of U.S. bombing raids in Iraq, reminding many people in the Middle East of the slaughter and the violence that happened during the Middle Ages when the Roman pope sent Christian crusaders against Islam.

The networks have been showing Muslims from Jordan, Syria and Algeria streaming into Iraq, saying they are ready for martyrdom.

Was not a war on Iraq a crusade ?

The chief commander of crusade is a religion leader aka Pope. US had two objectives in Iraq: OIL and humanity (get rid of Saddam), secularism in nature.

I don't believe US is 100% angel, but the starting point from korean war, vietnam war all the way to gulf war is not related to religion or religiously motivated. If you have hard facts mass destructive weapons saddam falsely accused to have but don't have, share with us. Peaceful be with you.

I believe it is wrong for Macron to make an official agenda to insult and provoke muslims, but is wrong to KILL. What made me very uneasy is killing motivated by a 'peaceful' and perfect religion. This religion is merely conformation(fasting) and physical form(hijab) but lack of true spirit of. How true muslim perceive kaffir(infidel) and it is very hypocritical to claim this religion treats everyone as equal.......All the 7th century laws they followed are causing problems in the 21th century. Peace be with you.

Show me proof lah. Dont just say tis and tat. At least i done my part by quoting fm the Quran that Islam is a religion.
“Are they seeking other than GOD's system, when everything in the heavens and the earth has submitted to Him, willingly and unwillingly, and to Him they will be returned?” (Quran 3:83)

Do we see the Sun having a problem with its orbit?. Or do we see the Moon smashing into the Earth?

Each of these objects has taken the SYSTEM that was designed by GOD and followed it…Had they designed their own system, they would have been destroyed or knocked out of orbit eons ago.

Yet, we still falter!

We still think we know best!

What we do not realize is that our bodies and minds are only the HARDWARE.

We had no problem accepting our hardware from GOD and taking them when we came to Earth…

Yet, it is the ‘Operating System’ that we have a problem accepting!

We keep running different programs and systems, when in the end, it is only ONE SYSTEM that is compatible with us:

“He is the One who sent His messenger with the guidance and the system of truth, to make it EXPOSE all other systems, in spite of the idol worshipers.” (Quran 9:33)

It is only now that we understand what this ‘religion’ is, that we can understand how it will EXPOSE all other ‘religions’.

The perfect system of GOD, when put into use, will show the weaknesses and fallacies of all other systems invented by man…

The system of GOD is the only one that not only caters to the ‘physical’ needs of the human being, but it also recognizes his ‘spiritual’ part and addresses those needs as well.

The human that follows the system of GOD by ‘submitting’ to it, is not only a self-sufficient person, but is also a happy person with strong family ties, intellectual endeavors, philosophical views, community awareness, and, above all, a realist.

What else can we say?

“Today, I have completed your religion, perfected My blessing upon you, and I have decreed Submission/Islam as the SYSTEM for you…” (Quran 5:3)

You have probably already tried many systems for yourself…Give "Islam/Submission" a go…It is the only one from the "manufacturer"!

It is not a religion.
The quran has a code of conduct when a believer is insulted or humiliated.

Those who abuse Muslims:

"Bear patiently what they (abusers) say." (20:130)
"Disregard their annoying talk." (33:48)
"When you hear Allah's messages disbelieved in and mocked at, sit not with them until they enter into some other talk." (4:140)
"And if you invite them to guidance, they hear not; and you see them looking towards you, yet they see not. Take to forgiveness and enjoin good and turn away from the ignorant." (7:198-199)

Obviously the emotions got the better of some.

The Bush administration based its rationale for the Iraq Warprincipally on the assertion that Iraq, which had been viewed by the U.S. as a "rogue state" since the 1990–1991 Gulf War, supposedly possessed an active weapons of mass destruction (WMD) program, and that the Iraqi government posed a threat to the United ...

Iraq invades Kuwait

On August 2, 1990, at about 2 a.m. local time, Iraqi forces invade Kuwait, Iraq’s tiny, oil-rich neighbor. Kuwait’s defense forces were rapidly overwhelmed, and those that were not destroyed retreated to Saudi Arabia. The emir of Kuwait, his family, and other government leaders fled to Saudi Arabia, and within hours Kuwait City had been captured and the Iraqis had established a provincial government. By annexing Kuwait, Iraq gained control of 20 percent of the world’s oil reserves and, for the first time, a substantial coastline on the Persian Gulf. The same day, the United Nations Security Council unanimously denounced the invasion and demanded Iraq’s immediate withdrawal from Kuwait. On August 6, the Security Council imposed a worldwide ban on trade with Iraq.

On August 9, Operation Desert Shield, the American defense of Saudi Arabia, began as U.S. forces raced to the Persian Gulf. Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein, meanwhile, built up his occupying army in Kuwait to about 300,000 troops. On November 29, the U.N. Security Council passed a resolution authorizing the use of force against Iraq if it failed to withdraw by January 15, 1991. Hussein refused to withdraw his forces from Kuwait, which he had established as a province of Iraq, and some 700,000 allied troops, primarily American, gathered in the Middle East to enforce the deadline.
