Serious Li Shengwu has 'taken advice' from top UK lawyer David Pannick for contempt of court case

This move by Shengwu, and most likely orchestrated by his mother Suet Fern is a master stroke and a good example of guerilla legal warfare.

Everyone and their donkey (and that includes Yang and his family) know that this is a case not based on any legal grounds. Its a straight up personal Vendetta by the Gay One, using the offices of the AG to do so. Therefore, in the Sinkiepore legal system of Kangaroos, the verdict for Shengwu is a foregone guilty verdict. Because of this, Yang is not stupid enough to spend millions to high a QC, or an expensive legal team, and waste all that money.

David Pannick is the hot lawyer in town now. In the UK, all eyes are on him. He has been a prominent human rights and constitutional lawyer for a long time, and is well known. But what thrust him into prominence is his current involvement in the UK dissolution of Parliament by Boris Johnson. He is representing the side that is charging that Johnson's act to dissolve parliament is completely illegal and that he has no authority to do so. Therefore, he is very high profile right now, and people follow what he is doing.

For a small advisory fee (not a full blown retainer), Shengwu has connected his name to David Pennick. Even better, he has gotten David Pannick's office to issue a statement that says that Pannick has some advisory role in Shengwu's case. Lets be clear on one point here, Pannick does not have the time nor inclination to commit to Shengwu's case. But Shengwu is now able to announce to the world that he has consulted and seek advice from Pannick.

Why is this important? The millions of people following this case against Boris Johnson, will see a small blip from his office that he has adviced Shengwu. They will be wondering, with the rest of the world, who this Shengwu chap is. And some will google him and find out about the contempt case now going thru the kangaroo court. Its a back door way of pointing some light on the travesty going on in singapore. If Shengwu and Yang start giving interviews to foreign reporters about what a cock process Pinky is using to whack people, they will both get sued. In this manner, they cannot be sued, but curious people will find out what is going on in singapore. Anything that casts a black light on the goings on of the PAP and Pinky and Whore Jinx is a good thing. And this is a good thing.

Also, its a warning shot to Pinky too. In the event, unlikely as it might be, that the PAP does not win a majority of seats in Parliament, what do you think will happen? Pinky will do a Boris Johnson for sure. He will instruct his kaki the fake Malay President Humplimah to dissolve PArliament. If that ever happens, maybe Pannick will be retained by the oppo party to come here.

Different situations. BoJo dissolved Parliament to circumvent the obstructionist Comrade Corbyn and his bunch of EU-loving traitors. It's not for undoing an undesirable election result. In fact, not respecting the result of a Brexit referendum, is by definition, traitorous.

Also, the repressive kangaroo court in Sinkieland isn't really that much of a secret. If the international community wanted to 'put pressure' on the PAP govt (Lee Hsien Loong), it would have done so long ago. Having a Familee nephew enter the picture won't change the situation.

U are missing the point. The reason for the British dissolution of Parliament may be different from that of singapore, if it were to happen here. The reason, what ever it is, is irrelevant. The real point is that parliament was dissolved. No real democratic country can have a parliament dissolved outside of electoral reasons.

The international community does not know about the repressiveness of the sinkie govt and judiciary system. who told you its not a secret? Other then thinking that singapore is in china, and that its a clean and green city with some strange laws, no one outside singapore knows shit about the kangaroo courts here.

He is not hiring the QC. He is using the QC's good name and reputation to shed light on his case going thru the kangaroo court.
