这起事件发生在11月5日晚上约9时，地点是位于淡滨尼宜家的停车场内。

根据网民上传至网络媒体平台《STOMP》的一则视频显示，一名年约5、6岁的长发白衣女童，在上述地点的停车场跪着，她身旁站着一对成年男女，男子约四十来岁。

《新明日报》记者通过《STOMP》联系上这名目击者李先生，他告诉《新明日报》，这名男子相信是女童的父亲，听他的口音，应该是本地人。

“当时，他们应该是刚到宜家，父亲不知何故不断以英语对女童大声怒吼。”

李先生目睹这一幕后被吓坏，并听到对方对女童说：“我爱你，但你不能对我说这样的话。”以及“那里已经不是你母亲的家，那是我的家”。

李先生说，不清楚站在一旁的女郎是不是女童的母亲，但她看起来仿佛很害怕，也没阻止男子的行径。

男子指着女童破口大骂后，大力掌掴她。一直跪着的女童没有回嘴，父亲竟指着她说：“这是最后一次了！答应我！跪好！”。女童继续愣在原地，她身旁的女郎也不知所措。

此时，这名父亲竟走向宜家的入口处，当时停车场内有8至10人，大家都避而远之，绕道而行去取车。

李先生起初拿起手机拍摄，但担心被发现，最后停止，并表示当时停车场内还有其他取车的公众，人越来越多之际，该父亲悻然离开。

The video has been viewed more than 30,000 times on Stomp as of yesterday evening.

Ikea confirmed yesterday that the incident occurred on its premises and that it has made a police report. An Ikea spokesman told The New Paper: "From the images in the video, we can verify that it's an Ikea carpark.

"This incident has been reported to the police and we will render any assistance they need in their investigation."
