If you are in a senior management role, excessive delegation creates bureaucracy, nobody takes risk and responsibility for their task. As a superior, if you have spare time, you should walk the grounds and check the staff who work under your directors and managers.

It all depends whether you are in a revenue generation function or not. If you are in the former, meeting KPIs and targets is a must, otherwise please go to support function or roles. If you cannot generate revenue ethically and through hard work, then, please go do a low life HR functional role where you can TCSS everyday about work life balance and organise ranjiao talks...
