What were your goals when you embarked on your PhD studies? If they are not available in Singapore, try other countries. If you wish to remain here, try going into academia and teach. Sorry, but pHds are so specialized in their fields, they block themselves out from general employment and thus narrow their choices. Good luck.

Go for something more ordinary and mundane...like a school teacher.

Remember PHD is just only a title.. My friend is a medical doctor and his name card does not address him as a Dr.

He passed away peacefully last month and he wishes to remain and remembered just like any ordinary person.
From the obituary page, no one knows that he was a Doctor.

well according to ur logic,if sam leong father can leave him a sizeable inheritance which he can grow and be fruitful,that means his father had superior genes in order to create wealth out of poverty.his father broke the cycle of poverty and left behind a legacy for his son.which also meant theres a high chance that leong sam inherited his father genes,scientist say theres a 50% to 75% correlation between a parent's and offspring's genetic sequence.

I got one job in ABC company but I only stayed for one week as I was uncomfortable with the workplace.

I continued my job search and landed another job in May as a patent executive but I only stayed for two months as I could not cope with the work.
