However, I think it is a guest's obligation to behave in the way as expected in the host country. That is, don't show middle finger if he is the one who has done something wrong. What is ok in his country may not be ok in a foreign land and it is his duty to find out. To impose one's standard in another place is condescending. We take off our shoes if a shop requested so. Conversely, to bend ourself to accommodate rude behavior of such guest is "Bo hood". They will get bolder and make a mess of your place. The exact reason why PRC are much disliked in many countries. So it is not an issue of whether we should relax and forget.
