I started coming to this forum for a bit of get together with fellow Singaporeans, and a bit of fun, entertainment when I'm not busy at work. Over the years I've learned many things from many bros here. Ramseth, GD, neddy, axe, just to name a few. Even Sam, Tony has entertaining articles they find and highlighted in here. However, every time when I talk about this website with my "Real Life" Singaporean friends, one of the inevitably response is that this site is full of whingers, complain king, hypocritical self-righteous twits. Case in point, Tony versus kopi-clones, Leetahbah versus F4. There is nothing wrong with allowing dissenting, even opposite views. The crucial point is allowing them to have a voice here, agree or disagree, say your piece and let be. That is how a vibrant community, freedom of speech is suppose to flourish. Why does some people in here think that they are the self appointed "messiah", police, to up hold some self-righteous agenda on what people say and do here? As far as I'm concern, the rules in this forum are simple, No PORN and SPAM. On the porn part, I think lingerie models are accepted. As for SPAM, Sam has paid adverts. So things are pretty flexible.

You mean in here or my "Real Life" friends in Singapore? It really doesn't matter if they are Singaporean or not. I'm no longer one, Sam, neddy, Axe, and I suspect a few others are not as well. Ex-Singaporean, Malaysian, Thai, Pinoy, Ah-tiongs views are welcomed here. It will give insights, how they think about Singapore! That is valuable! That is what a community of various voices, do. Each closeted views in itself is flawed, together you get the best of each view points and form something greater.

i have never argue with anyone in particular. I always mentioned the word " Sinkies" that refer to most singaporeans who has this low life behaviour. Only recently, that i realise many losers like to gives excuses on waiting for 2016 and every elections to hope to bring down the PAP..especially one who is called Zeddy. It truly reflects that ball-less sinkie behaviour. How can you wait for 5 years to get things done?

in this 5 years, the PAP can do many things to make them in better position to win the election, such as bringing in more FTs and turn them to citizens and get them to vote for them. Or if the FT do not vote for them, they always gives themselves high salary and when they lose, they still have money to get through their whole life in comfort till death. The PAP also cheated in every elections by redrawing the boundaries to make them in a better position to win. It is all about themselves rather than for the people .............and sinkies just wait for 2016? what logic is that or they have mal-functioned sinkie genes?

So It is totally stupid for a self-respecting human being to even think about waiting for the next election to get things done. It is really nothing special about doing protest. I have done it in bangkok and also the very first black shirt protest at centerpoint with opposition members and reporters there. fyi, i have a handshake with uncle yap too at that time i was there.

once you do it, it just nothing special in it. it is actually a voice and action to show ur displeasure against any agenda or event.

HOwever, many childish PAP IBs are told to counter any post that encourage protest. This forum might be a place for some to relax and enjoy, but it is also for some with an agenda.

and yes, you are right that they are too 3rd world, sinkified and backward to accept any opposing views.

Tony, I'm glad that you never sunk down to their level, and I thank you for that. Its my mistake for following this, whacking here and there is part and parcel of this forum. Its boring after a while. What I wanted to highlight in this thread is the dissenting views in here. Its a good thing, not a bad thing. Most Singaporean seems to have the view that its their way or the highway. Much like the PAP does. I suppose if you have never been taught another way of thinking you will always have the same behaviour. Perhaps a better approach is to tell these "Sinkies" how things are done overseas? Jesus says, love thy enemy, Buddhism has the same philosophy as well. Perhaps by embracing these sinkies you can change them as well? Instead of creating strife and commotion?

i am not here to change anyone.. i am just sharing what i called .. the logical truth.

Yes, I'll do that once I get bored of this site. But the point I want to make is that this site has a lot to offer. A lot of my friends in Singapore are turned off by the fact that the views expressed here by the self-righteous are no better then the what they see in their daily lives with the PAP.
