Be it from an evolutionary physiology or evolutionary psychology vantage point, boldness can grow in the face of adversity. While the older generation may be meek and mild and still hold the old man in awe, the younger generation has a more 'fuck-this-shit' attitude. When the overcrowding and high cost of living affect their livelihood, they can easily switch camps. We have already seen this vote swing from this by-election.

Honestly, if the outcome were 80% - 20% the "ship" would be "listing" to one side...there are those who die will still support PxP, many have no choice but to support for they are the "masters" who feed them & that make up the 12,000 or more.

Brother, I feel majority of those 12k are the young hippies that is directly or indirectly linked with government jobs and their family members. People like my younger brother who ate holding cushy jobs in GLCs will not vote for the opposition until his own benefits is threathen. Such us the voting mindset if the young in Singapore today.
