We will wait for the quarterly figures then since both are newly launched...but my money is on apple...
apple on average move well over 30 million units per quarter of iPhone 4....
If Samsung needs combined figures to pip Apple IMHO it's a hollow 'victory' at best

Ok, finally got my Note II Titanium Grey up and running! Got it from Challenger @ NEX last night.

First impression:- Not much difference in look, weight and size. Can hardly tell the difference even
when placed side-by-side.

But once powered up, the difference is stunning especially in the display (while playing videos),
camera and processing speed.

First impression:- Not much difference in look, weight and size. Can hardly tell the difference even
when placed side-by-side.

Actually the 5 million figure is important as means Apple only have to concentrate on 1 production line for 1 product,,,samsung has several different product lines so of course samsung cost is higher lah,,,that is why I hope in future the galaxy S4 by itself will beat iphone 6 in sales numbers.

Apple is still a very profitable company..but knowing apple,,they there will be an iphone 5S to stretch the product life cycle so they can get even more profits,,where 80% of the parts can be recycled into the new model,,i hate apple,,,

Hehehe. OK lah, my 2 Baht.

Have been using an old samsung galaxy and an old cheapo nokia for a long time until a bro (you know who) recommended me iphone and LINE. Iphone was easier to use and took me a short time to get used to navigating the menus and icons. Also began to use texting on LINE and KAKAO. Then realize I am doing everything including surfing SBF and watching plates on iphone instead of pc. but very damaging for the eyes especially for the senior citizen. So I got ipad but gave up after few days cos' too troublesome to bring around. Where got people go pak tor with ipad one har? Then I think the slightly smaller samsung tab (7 inch) is not too big and not too small, and so I got that too. KNS, become another paper weight. So I pass the ipad and galaxy tab to the staff to use in the office.

Then got a S3 for the big one but she gave up and so ended up with me again. For me, S3 screen size is just nice and easier to fit into my pocket but I still use iphone.

Honestly speaking, using mainly for voice call, surf net, read email, LINE and camera features of these 2 phones nia. So if you ask me can I live without these phones? Of course can, can always revert back to the cheapo nokia. Life was much peaceful then.

Does anyone use skype for android?

I realize when i am making phone calls on skype for the note i cannot minimize it to surf the net or check another app like line because once i do that the phone call gets d/c and skype closes up. I wonder if it's due to the poor design of the skype app or due to the lack of ram on the note 1 because the note 1 has 1GB of ram but the note 2 has 2 GB of ram.

The iphone version of skype also seems to have the same problem but i am using it on an ip4. Anyone owning a note 2 can test skype on it and minimize it while making a phone call ?

From what I see, SAMSUNG is focusing on customer satisfaction,,not like the one size fits all Apple,,,also they diverse line a bit, even though will cost a bit more to maintain different production line,,the name itself gets advertised,,hope samsung does better and flatten apple,,but highly unlikely as there are alot of macnuts out there who will buy a polish turd as long as its branded apple

On launch day, Singtel queue was the most orderly as they issued queue slots segregated based on time slots.

Starhub was the worst. People queued for 6 hours or more.
