THE Prime Minister has appointed Dr Ng Eng Hen, Minister for Defence and Member of Parliament (MP) for Bishan-Toa Payoh Group Representation Constituency (GRC) as the Leader of the House.
Mr Heng Chee How, Senior Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office and MP for Whampoa will be the Deputy Leader.
Mr Gan Kim Yong, Minister for Health and MP for Chua Chu Kang GRC, has been appointed the Government Whip.
He will be assisted by two deputies: Dr Amy Khor Lean Suan, Minister of State for Health, Mayor of South West Community Development Council (CDC) and MP for Hong Kah North Single Member Constituency (SMC) and Dr Teo Ho Pin, Mayor of North West CDC and MP for Bukit Panjang SMC.
