Jealous barmaid gives live-in lover the chop

Hanoi - A doctor in central Vietnam had half his penis cut off by a jealous girlfriend, state media and officials said on Friday.

Dr Luong Quang Duc had been living with a barmaid for the past year in the central Vietnamese town of Dalat after leaving his wife, the Tien Phong newspaper reported.

When the doctor's girlfriend discovered that he was having a relationship with another woman, she cooked him a meal and got him drunk last Thursday, the paper said.

When the man had passed out, she cut off his penis with a knife and fled the popular tourist resort, 150km north-east of Ho Chi Minh City, police said.

"We are tracking down the woman," said police investigator Le Tong Giang. "She got away right after cutting the man."

Duc was rushed to the hospital.

"There is a little change with his penis," said Ha Frai, who works in the same department as Duc. "It was shortened by half. I don't know if it will work normally, but he has not come to work yet." - Sapa-DP

A PAKISTANI woman chopped off her lover's penis after he wedded his cousin in a marriage arranged by his parents, police and hospital officials said.

The man, 24-year-old Muhammad Shehzad, began a relationship with a 30-year-old married woman named Jamila after they met at a zoo in the eastern city of Lahore two years ago, police officer Asghar Bhatti said.

"Shehzad had promised he would marry Jamila if she got a divorce from her husband, but he married his cousin two weeks ago," Bhatti said, adding that this "infuriated her and she decided to take revenge".

"She invited him to her house last Wednesday and after serving some intoxicant cut off his sexual organ."

Police arrested the woman and she remains in custody, Bhatti said.

Doctor Sanaullah, who treated Shehzad at Lahore General Hospital, said they have been unable to reattach the penis.

"He has become impotent for the rest of his life and will be unable to perform his conjugal duties. He can never become a father," the doctor said.

Most marriages in Pakistan are arranged between families, with cousins often tying the knot to maintain ties within clans.

Kupang, Indonesia - A woman in a remote Indonesian island village cut off her boyfriend's penis in an apparent jealous rage, Indonesian police said Friday.

"The incident was based on jealousy because the victim was allegedly cheating," said Commissioner Marthen Radja, regional police spokesperson for Timor island.

The woman, Erlin Mafefa, 22, had been arrested and was being held near the village, he said, adding it was still not clear what she had done with the severed penis.

"What we know of what happened was they were playing around then suddenly the woman got angry and cut the victim's penis off and ran away with it," he said.

Due to the remoteness of the village, the victim, 23-year-old Markus Hunbani, only reached the regional hospital in Kupang on Thursday, four days after the incident.

A man burst into a busy central London restaurant and chopped off his own penis with a knife in front of horrified diners, police and reports said today.
The man - identified by the Sun as a 35-year-old Polish national - ran into Zizzi, in the Strand, at 9pm on Sunday.

"This guy came running in then charged into the kitchen, got a massive knife and started waving it about," Stuart McMahon, who was eating at the restaurant with his girlfriend, told the paper. "Everyone was screaming and running out as he jumped on a table, dropped his trousers and popped his penis out. Then he cut it off. I couldn't believe it."

A Scotland Yard spokeswoman said a man aged between 30 and 40 was the only person hurt in the incident, and that his injuries were self-inflicted.

He was taken to hospital, where his condition was described as stable. According to the Sun, the man was being assessed by psychiatrists and was expected to be detained under the Mental Health Act.

The paper reported that police had subdued the man with CS gas spray and recovered his severed penis, which surgeons at St Thomas' hospital in central London attempted to re-attach. It was not known whether the operation had been a success.

Wife fled country after cutting man

The government has asked the Philippines to extradite a woman who fled there from Taipei after cutting off her husband's penis.

"We asked the Interpol office in the Philippines to extradite Virginia Chun to face trial in Taiwan. We are still waiting for their reply," a Bureau of Criminal Investigation official said by phone yesterday.

But since this country does not have an extradition treaty with the Philippines, it is not clear if police there will grant the request.

Chun, 46, cut off the penis of her Filipino-Chinese husband, identified only by his surname Tsai, at about 6am Tuesday when Tsai was sleeping at their home in the Taipei suburb of Shihlin.

She flushed his penis down the toilet, left the house and headed for the airport to catch a flight to her home in the Philippines.

Their son, 17, who was sleeping in another room, was awakened by his father's howling. After trying to stem the bleeding, he rushed his father to hospital where doctors stitched up the wound.

Hung Cheng-sheng (洪正昇), the chief surgeon at the Municipal Yangming Hospital, said Tsai is in stable condition.

"But he is traumatized because only 2.5 centimetres of his penis is left and he won't be able to have sex again," Hung said.

Hong Kong - A jobless Hong Kong man said he thought he was going to die after a disgruntled lover sliced off his penis when he tried to end their torrid relationship, a report said Saturday.

Chan Chi-keung, 35, burst into tears when he recounted Poon Shuk-yee's alleged act on November 9 2001.

"I was bleeding profusely. I was terrified. I thought I was going to die," Chan told prosecutors at Hong Kong's Court of First Instance.

Poon, 27, pleaded not guilty to one charge of wounding with intent.

Chan has since had his penis reattached, the South China Morning Post reported.

He told the court Poon had come to his flat to discuss their future. He insisted they break off their relationship and asked Poon to leave when she refused to commit herself to marriage.

She then allegedly requested one last night of passion with Chan and performed a sex act on him.

Secretary accidentally bites off boss’ penis

A SECRETARY accidentally bit off the penis of her employer while giving him oral sex in a car.

Sin Chew Daily and China Press reported yesterday that while the 30-year-old woman was performing oral sex on the man, the car was hit by a reversing van.

The impact of the crash, China Press reported, caused the woman to bite off her lover’s organ.

The daily reported that the incident occurred in a Singapore park where the couple met after work.

To make matters worse for the woman, her husband had sent a private investigator to spy on her after suspecting that she was being unfaithful.

The investigator said he had followed the woman and her boss to the park.

“On reaching the park, they did not alight from the car. Not long after, the car started to shake violently.

After the car was hit by the van, there was a loud scream from the woman whose mouth was covered with blood,” he said.

The woman later followed her lover to the hospital with part of the sexual organ.

The investigator, who called an ambulance to send the man to hospital, said that this was the first time he had encountered such an incident.
