A 90-YEAR-OLD man was arrested yesterday for attempting to kill himself by jumping from a block of flats.
Police received a call at 9.20am asking for assistance at Block 626, Hougang Avenue 8.
It is believed that the man had tried to leap to his death from his home, located on the 12th floor.
He later abandoned his suicide attempt, and was arrested and led away unharmed by the police.
