Parts of the Central Business District in Singapore were hit by flash floods following heavy rains on Thursday afternoon.
Contributors to citizen journalism website Stomp said cars were sloshing through a water-filled Shenton Way at around 1pm.
A spokesperson from PUB said that the flood subsided in about 20 minutes.
"Two lanes were affected but remained passable to traffic. The water level was about 10cm and the affected stretch was about 30 metres.
"PUB is improving the drainage in the locality."
Last week, flash floods hit several areas on Friday between noon and 2pm due to islandwide heavy rain. Areas affected included Little India, Bishan, and Ang Mo Kio.
