[h=3]How much of our reserves did PAP raid to give foreign students in the form of Tuition Grant?[/h][h=2]Sunday, October 23, 2011[/h]
In a feeble attempt to fool Singaporeans, the PAP incumbents recently released the statistic of the number of International students studying in our locally subsidized universities. The number reported was 18%, however, the definition of "International Student" here means those who enrolled using foreign qualifications e.g. high school diplomas or SATS. This figure is of little relevance to the particular Singaporeans' long queried concern if foreign students have stolen university places of Singaporeans, because the figure doesn't include Permanent Residents(PRs), who hold foreign citizenship. PAP 154th media have deliberately misled the public with the use of "foreign students" where PAP Heng Swee Keat actually meant "International students".

According to statutory board Singapore Statistics, each year, the number of PRs stood at around 550,000 and the Singapore Residents(including PRs) typically increase by 50,000 to 60,000(except for 2008-2009 where it grew more than 81000). The number of citizens birth in Singapore is not released by PAP, because most of the new births are majority Permanent Residents, with a large number of them being males to avoid the National Slavery death trap.

About 19000 PR Foreigners are sworn into as New Citizens every year, with most of the males not serving National Slavery like PAP MP Dr Janil Puthucheary. They professes themselves as Singaporeans but if we were to implement National Slavery for them, they will be the first to throw the pink IC out of the window.

How much of our reserves did PAP raid to give foreign students in the form of Tuition Grant?
Aside from robbing a qualified Singaporean student a chance for further studies, the PAP use Singaporeans' taxpayers monies to provide most foreign students with Tuition Grant which could range from $3000 to $14000 depending on the course. PAP Heng Swee Keat revealed that only a small amount of the International Students pay school fees in full, what about the PRs foreign students? An safe estimate of the amount of subsidies given to foreign students authorized by the PAP would be at least:

5000 Foreign Students X $6000 subsidies(Tuition Grant only) = $3 Million every year

Add in the free scholarships with monthly allowance to foreign students(including PRs), the amount of Singaporeans' monies spent on Foreign Students would be an estimated $5 million every year. This figure is considered mild and peanuts as compared to the $10 million used on Integration Fund and the $1.3 Billion artificial river that is to be built in Bishan. All these squandering of the public fund is only possible with the PAP in power.

The PAP will never dare to announce the amount of subsidies given to Foreign Students because they have everything to hide. PAP have decided letting daft Singaporeans know of the actual figures will only build resentment and xenophobia, hence out of national interests, Singaporeans should stay ignorant. Our only beam of hope left is the Workers' Party, which recently have done a great job demanding greater transparency and accountability from the ruling incumbents. Particularly on one occasion, Mr Low Thia Kiang, the leader of the Opposition presence, reminded PAP not to put their own interests above the nation's. An embarrassed PAP Millionaire Minister Lim Swee Say only managed a "im at a loss of words". The PAP today is opposing any better proposals for the sake of opposing, simply by either lame wits trying to sound smart or scare tactics. Acknowledging mistakes is not enough, PAP should get rid of ball carriers like Heng Chee How, Lim Swee Say, Shanmugam, Cedric Fool, Vivian Balakrishnan, Lui Tuck Yew, Chan Chun Sing, Yacoob and Teo Ho Pin, whose presence is only to defend PAP policies and encourage groupthink.

Dear Frens,

have the WP and other Oppos brought this up to the Minister of Education? If not, I hope they do, WP has done a good job in questioning the PAP, please keep it up
