Yemeni politician Mohammed Ali Al-Houthi, a member of the Houthi Supreme Political Council said on a November 2, 2023 show on Russia Today TV that the Jews "do not love anyone but themselves." Al-Houthi called upon the Arab countries to join the fray, and he said that these countries have larger weapon arsenals and budgets than Yemen, and they have no excuse to avoid defending the Palestinians. He continued to call on Russian President Putin to take part in supporting the Palestinians.
Mohammed Ali Al-Houthi: "Throughout history, it has been known about the Jews that they do not love anyone but themselves, and have been continuously working to eradicate humanity in its entirety.

"We are not pleased with the Arab regimes that have not mobilized. I say to them: Even though we do not have an arsenal of weapons like yours, we have will, and our mobilization is one of Jihad for the sake of Allah. Therefore, we call upon Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Egypt, Jordan, and all the Arab countries and regimes to mobilize their armies. The capabilities of their armies are not less than ours. They have more capabilities and a bigger budget. They have strong economies. There is no excuse for not participating in defending the Palestinians.

"We call upon President Putin to play [an active] role. Fighting the Ukrainians is not enough. He should employ air defense weapons, in order to protect our brothers in the Gaza strip from airstrikes. I believe that it is the same war, when Putin says that he is fighting against those who stand with the plundering entity in Gaza."
