Why Elon Musk never discussed how to dispose Lithium Batteries?

The insignificant nobody me will try to be as brief as possible, as I have little time & much to do, & hope that those whom seek to know more, would find readily & credible available sources.

1. Lithium is an element on the Periodic Table. Being such, it has an atomic structure, at its core - neutrons, electrons & protons. Lithium alone will not power a car. It is the ions-electrical charged particles of electrons & protons that produces a field of energy that can power up a car when outside electrical energy is made to excite the ions. When there is no more outside electrical energy, it simply reverts back to its element, & can be recycled again for further use, FOREVER.

2. The lifespan of a EV Lithium ION battery is est to be 20 yrs. As it is NOT a moving part of the machineries in a car, the wear & tear is minimal, & only found in the circuitry, as heat may eventually wear such out. However, as we Humanity learn & test upon known knowledge to overcome problems, within such batteries are sensor mechanisms that will sense over heating or pressure on the battery, & cut off or regulate the charging process to keep the battery/ Lithium ion cells safe.

3. The cost of FULL charge of such batteries is around $10 from Singapore power & will run for est 300km. Assuming one uses only 50km per day, it will only cost the consumer $10 to charge up the EV car every FOUR days. Extrapolate into a month, the consumer only needs to spend $60 a month on energy costs for the EV car. For the same Combustion engine type car for 50km daily, it will cost $219/mth or $2,600 a yr. The diff costs are significant even to a climate change disbeliever.

4. No doubt, to charge the EV battery, it will have to come from the power station which will use fossil fuels to create electrical energy. However, the power station is only a single source, which there are ways to limit its damage to the environment. However, if fossil fuel combustion engine type cars are used, there will be MULTIPLE sources of damage to our planet, not even mentioning the high amount of fossil fuels needed to keep each individual combustion engine car running.

5. The only time one will dump the EV car will be due to new models - shape, design, material of the car & even advance battery type, or due to car structural damage. In such cases, the Lithium ion battery is still functional, & hope that perhaps car manufactures can agree on the shape & size of such battery so that it can be fitted into ANY OR ANOTHER model of car, as the lifespan of the lithium battery is capable of being forever, with slight modifications or enhancement to the circuitry or the compounds use within those fuel cells.
