Workers' Party you are as short sighted as the PAP. at this point of time you agree with PAP's passive action adopt by PAP "wait and see". as per Jan-28-2020 8pm I am not able to get hold of one surgical mask from watson or gardian retail and the PAP is showing a whole warehouse full or mask and tell Singaporean to keep cool
Supply of masks in Singapore sufficient, no need to rush to buy them: Lam Pin Min.
No Singaporean need to suffer a present and clear danger (be it ill or die from this virus) before our PAP actively do something. Activate the medical specialist from military or civil defense if the CNY holiday hinder the delivery of the mask to all retail outlet. this is the time and the right time to activate the Singapore resources for Singaporean. We deserve the service if we are paying million dollar to the ministers. I hope Worker's party can be with more foresight than the PAP, its not a matter of education level or intelligent, its a matter of wisdom and common sense.
there should be at least 4 x clinic station operate 24-hour by the join force of the health ministry, the military and the civil defense so that any suspected case, the citizen can visit these clinic as most clinic cease operation after 10pm and also the possibility to spread virus to the general clinic and hospital out-patient department if it happen to be true case.
medical team formed by the health ministry, military and civil defense should be station at all shopping malls, CBD or any high human traffic location just like how we deploy the patrol team at airports (formed by Military and police force). The medical team has a chance to get used to operate infront of public and the public has to get used to these medical team. these teams will able to better escort the suspected case so as to minimized the possibility of exposing the staff of the mall or the security guards of the building.
All surgical mask, hand sanitiser....etc should be made available to the public at the retail outlets or giving out to the public so as to built-up public confidence.
PAP talk about total defense - Military, Civil, Economic, Social, Digital and Psychological. I only see lip service from politician, I don't see actual action.
