The smuggling of blood from mainland pregnant women to Hong Kong for testing the sex of their foetuses has been repeatedly banned, and because of the epidemic closure, illegal syndicates have switched to using vehicles that transport vegetables across the border to smuggle blood.
The Hong Kong 01 reporters have already identified the smuggling syndicate in early April, and have been able to follow the whole logistics chain of the "blood ants" to Hong Kong, with the "worker ants" moving in bulk to different laboratories.
The reporter also found out that the main shareholder of the laboratory is Lin Moumou, the head of a "blood test" smuggling ring reported by CCTV, who was wanted on the Mainland. He responded that he had no knowledge of the incident.
