Should SAF be left alone to defend the country?

The Chief of Defence Force, Lieutenant-General (LG) Neo Kian Hong, is moving up closer to hold a Cabinet position one day.

LG Neo is leaving the SAF to take up a senior position in the Civil Service, after less than 3 years as Chief of Defence Force.

Major-General (MG) Ng Chee Meng, currently the Chief of Air Force, will take over from LG Neo as the new Chief of Defence Force on 27 March.

Another SAF soldier crossing over to civil service to join PAP.

Is this a waste of tax payers money to groom top soldiers for PAP benefits?

Should SAF be separated from political parties?

SAF is one of the government organisations and for defense purpose only. These top soliders should not be affiliated to join any political parties.

PAP should rename to MPAP, Military Personels Action Party.

What would be the cost to train a junior soldier for 3 years to be Chief of Defense Force?

Looks like SAF is not a training ground to defence Singapore but a political ground to train PAP candidates for GE and cabinet postings at the expense of tax payers money.

hahaha....wonder what made you said that????
it is UNLIKELY that NKH will be a ministar....
those with ministar potential would have left the military service much earlier (younger).

Rather, in view of 6.9m, SAF should leave Singapore Citizens alone.

All scholars who leave the public service should lose their pension. The pension was set up to keep talents in the public service but we see all these double dipping.

They have this hefty pensions paid with tax dollars from employment in the civil service and then they get another hefty pension being in cabinet. Now, you know why our ministers are super duper rich even when they retire.
