C'mon, give her a break. Don't be jealous.

Not every rich China citizen is corrupt, criminal or sell their bodies. There are MANY MORE whom are honest & make a better living than rich Singaporeans.

It is DUE TO THEIR COUNTRY'S MARKET SIZE, of 1.3 Billion citizens & low labour costs for manufacturing. It's only ECONOMICS.

In Singapore, if an inventor produces a hot saleable product at $1 each that EVERY inhabitant living here will buy, it will be gross profit of $5million.

In China, if an inventor produces a hot saleable product at $1 each that EVERY China citizen will buy, it will be a gross profit of $1.3 BILLION. See the difference?

So what is a $8500/mth rental home to for the daughter of a Billionaire, a fellow Human, who loves his innocent child?

I also know and understand what you mentioned. However, The likelihood of her parents cheating money or she selling nude is higher than what you mentioned.
Honest businessman in China, have but too few compared to the ratio of conmans.
Hence I'm quoting the more likelihood.

The problem is, in-your-face consumption message to us, indirectly telling us how powderful China is. Why can't China rich do their shit in their own country?

Base upon my earlier post on Market Size & low labor costs in China, it may seemed that with Singaporeans small market size & high labor costs, we will not stand a chance to become billionaires like those in China.

But do not despair. Our market within Singapore may be small, but we, intelligent & hardworking, are friends with all nations on Earth with a population size of 7 Billion, along with special privileges from numerous FTAs with other nations on trade.

Thus, should we have a genuine, honest & quality product or services to offer, even at $1 & ALL Humankind buys it, it would net a gross profit of $7 Billion, beating the Chinese in the same game.

That's how Sim Wong Hoo ( Electronics), Quek Lian Beng (Hotels), Peter Lim (Stocks & shares), Mohd Mustafa ( India connections on retail ) & many more other Singaporeans became billionaires - tapping upon Singapore's International strengths & opportunities Worldwide. Dream big & Work hard smarter are their way....

For the elderly generations, it may seem that such riches are beyond their grasps, as tiredness, stress & family commitments/responsibilities set in. However, for the young & ambitious, opportunities STILL abound.

Generative AI will be the IN thing over the next few years. At the heart of AI are algorithms which are taught even at the secondary school levels. It is just how one combines what was taught, to built upon it, along with the use of sensors, which will transform industries & services beyond what we have today.

For example, even an electric drill can be fitted with AI chips & sensors to tell the user to switch drill bits for drilling different surfaces for max productivity, etc, etc, And thats just a simple electric drill. There are millions of other tools, machineries, services that would need to be upgraded in our competitive world, & that spells OPPORTUNITIES for jobs & prosperity for oneself & loved ones....
