Serial motorcycle thief nabbed

A 29-YEAR-OLD man believed to be responsible for at least four cases of motorcycle theft in Hougang has been arrested. Four motorcycles were reported missing in the vicinity between Sept 10 to 16, 2010. After a series of extensive ambushes, the police spotted the suspect on Sunday morning as he was approaching one of the stolen motorcycles. They detained him as he was about start up the engine, and was later placed under arrest for suspected theft. The suspect will be charged in Court on Wednesday.
