According to media reports, rookie actor Liu Feng passed away at the young age of 25 from a heart attack whilst in Beijing on February 27, 2023.
Industry sources also claim that the actor suffered a heart attack after working out for just ten minutes. “I heard he drank alcohol after recovering from Covid. He then went to the gym and worked out for ten minutes when he suffered a heart attack. And then he was gone.” The day before his passing, the actor was still posting on social media and interacting with fans so many were surprised by this turn of events.
Liu Feng graduated from the Beijing Film Academy and counts Chinese actress Guan Xiaotong as one of his schoolmates. Whilst he might not yet be a household name in the industry, the young rookie has started to build a name for himself, appearing in supporting roles for dramas such as Lost Track of Time 覆流年 and the second season of Twenty Your Life On 二十不惑2 and the upcoming Back to the Brink. In December last year, he also signed on to appear in the upcoming series Stories of Youth and Love 199爱 starring Yang Zi and Fan Chengcheng which is still filming.
