Police have info on millionaire

SHAH ALAM: The police have certain information which they believe can help find millionaire beauty products founder Datuk Sosilawati Lawiya and three other people reported missing since Aug 30. Insya Allah (God willing), we will find them, we have information,” said Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Musa Hassan.

He was speaking to reporters at a news conference held in conjunction with his farewell visit to the Selangor police headquarters here yesterday. “At the moment, we are looking for a person who was to have met her (Sosilawati). “That person, supposedly a lawyer, was believed to be negotiating a contract on the sale of a property,” he said.

Separately, Noorhisham’s wife, Suzana Radim Pangat, said Noorhisham last contacted her on Monday evening. She added that her husband had asked for her “understanding of his situation” and that he would explain everything when he returned. “He seemed to be in a hurry when he called at about 8.15pm. I have not been able to contact him since,” she said, at her house in Taman Seria, Ampang.

Suzana lodged a report on her husband’s disappearance at the Dang Wangi police station at about 5pm last Thursday. Federal CID deputy director Deputy Comm Datuk Hadi Ho Abdullah urged the public not to speculate or spread rumours about the four missing people. “The public are urged to use the Rakan Cop hotline at 03-2115 9999 or 03-2052 9999 or even Facebook to assist in our investigations,” said DCP Hadi.
