Salt is not the enemy, sugar is.
And even sugar isn't necessarily bad. Depends on the type of sugar, and if your liver is unhealthy, it can't metabolise certain sugars very well. A better idea to find out what happened to your liver, instead of just reducing sugar intake and think everything will be fine.
If you want to reduce sugar intake, abstaining from all dairy products (butter, cream, cheese etc) is more than good enough. Lactose.
This is the best sugar, your entire body can metabolise it. No need to overly depend on the liver. It was a big part of my childhood. Back then it came in metal containers.
