(Video) Married Man Uses Tudung As Disguise To Spy In Women’s Restroom At Johor Mall

It’s unfortunate that women can’t use spaces such as restrooms or prayer rooms alone without the fear of being spied on or secretly filmed by perverts. Previously, a man was arrested after he was caught following a woman into a restroom in Johor.
It looks like a similar incident has happened again, only this time, the suspect had disguised himself as a woman in order to secretly film his victims in the restroom.
Yesterday (Sunday, 22nd October), a video was posted on the Malaysia Most Viral Twitter page that showed a 23-year-old man being held in a headlock by a staff member after being caught spying in the women’s restroom while disguising himself as a woman. According to the video, the incident happened at KIPMall Masai, Pasir Gudang, Johor at 11am.
A woman can be heard shouting at the man while demanding he give the password to his phone so they could check for video evidence of his crimes. The person recording then brought the camera closer to the perpetrator to show that he had made the effort to disguise himself by wearing a hijab as well as painting his toenails.
When asked to explain himself, the offender claimed that he was not in the right state of mind. He also confirmed that he was married. Seri Alam District Police Chief, Superintendent Mohd. Sohaimi Ishak confirmed that the suspect had been taken into custody. “The suspect has no past criminal records. The case is being investigated according to Section 377D of the Penal Code,” he said in a statement. If found guilty, the man will be sentenced to up to 2 years in prison.
SOURCE: TWITTERNetizens condemned the man for his actions with many suspecting that he may be addicted to porn and/or has a voyeurism fetish. Others sympathised with the wife for having such a perverted husband who would spy on other women in public restrooms. Some shared similar experiences of being spied on while they were in the restrooms.
At the time of writing, there has been no statement from KIPMall about the incident nor from the man’s wife about his actions but we sure hope that she’ll reconsider spending the rest of her life with him.
