Man arrested for stealing diesel

SINGAPORE - A 38-year-old man who is believed to be involved in a case whereby 6,500 litres of diesel was stolen from an oil tank located at a shipyard in the vicinity of Tuas Road has been arrested.
Police were informed of the case on the morning of 30 July 2013.
After investigation, the suspect was arrested in the vicinity of Tuas later in the afternoon.
The man will be charged in Court on 1 Aug 2013 for theft. He faces up to a maximum jail term of 7 years. He may also be fined.
