Man arrested for outrage of modesty on bus

SINGAPORE: A 46-year-old male suspect was arrested on Monday for outrage of modesty that occurred on a bus.

At 5pm on Monday, a 15-year-old female victim reported that the incident happened on a bus travelling from Bukit Batok Avenue 7 to Woodlands Bus Interchange.

At the bus interchange, the passenger service centre alerted the police about the incident.

The suspect was arrested at 6pm.

If found guilty, the suspect can be jailed up to two years or fined or caned, or any combination of the three sentences. - CNA/xq
