In this instant, Marion is seriously misguided, a very poor manager and a non-leader.

hahaha.....each school has her own school rules.....
the rules forbid u from shaving bald.......
if you want to break the rule, u have to ask for permission...
permission is given provided u wear a wig to school....
3 gals broke their promise and the issue gets blown out of proportion in the SCM and social media.....
(one gal who suffers from allergy was excused)
how is this bad leadership..blah, blah, blah.....????

Because they realized that the principal's condition was senseless. The whole purpose was to show that it is okay to be bald when you are fighting cancer. Allowing the girls to be bald will spread that message.
Just because it is a rule, it does not mean that the rule is sensible.

as xtracted from dat 154th ...

... The three St Margaret's Secondary School students had cut their hair to raise funds for a cancer charity.

But this drew the ire of their principal, as they had not donned wigs, as they had promised earlier.

The school's rules do not allow "punk, unfeminine or sloppy hairstyles". Said principal Marion Tan: "It's very clear in our mission: it's about their turnout as a young lady." ...
wen dey do sumting 4 charity, iz a personl matta n choice ... y dey haf 2 repot dat 2 their skool in ze 1st place? ...

but den, if dey haf promised 2 wear wigs, dey juz haf 2 kip their promise ...

"punk, unfeminine or sloppy hairstyles" ... wat 'hairstyle' is she toking about wen now dey got no hair? ...
