Their scam was eventually foiled on May 19, after a suspicious resident called Willing Hearts, which in turn called the police, who nabbed the women at the foot of an Ang Mo Kio block.
Yesterday, Santha Devi Lingam (above) and Kamisah Shaik Mohamed were jailed for their offences committed in May this year.
