Eleven workers charged with rioting at construction site

SINGAPORE: A group of 11 workers have been charged with rioting at a construction site off Choa Chu Kang.
The workers, aged between 21 and 46, are accused of punching and kicking seven other men, on April 6 at about 3.15pm.
The alleged offence took place at the site for Rainforest Condominium.
For rioting, they face a maximum penalty of seven years' jail and caning. - CNA/nd/de
