There is the regular typhoon visitor come from Pacific Ocean and swept through Pinoy islands every season....
These Pinoy islands are like tips of many mountains raised from the seabed... a mountainous region like the Himalayas region...
Just demolish some mountains to let high tide flow in the direction of the Singapore will flood this choke point increase sea level that render it useless during this season...
Thai kia trade and economy also need to pass this choke point.... but stubborn to build the kra Canal... give them a taste of their own medicine flood the choke point...
