There are about 10 Alternative Parties in Singapore today.
PPP under GMS has yet to be approved.
I doubt approval can come fast.
Hence PPP may not be in the fight for seats.
What are the weaknesses or strengths of these Alternative Parties?
How can they be further strengthened?
Is there a need for an Alternative Alliance to avoid 3-Cornered Fights?
Which Alternative Party do you think stands a good fighting chance in wresting GRCs?

Almost all have a lack of branding. And personalities do not equate to branding except in one case, and in that one case it is a negative.

Survival of the Fittest. The weak parties will see themselves losing their deposits, which should tell them that they should probably quit.
PE2011 and BE2013 taught people that they should not be wasting their votes on weak candidates.
We shouldn't worry about 3-cornered fights so much anymore. BE2013 showed that people now know what the right thing to do is when there is a 3 (or 4-) cornered fight. Let the nobodies come in and lose their deposits and give even more credibility to the strong opposition party.
