Secretary-General of The Workers' Party Low Thia Khiang said he has no intention of conducting any further investigation into the dispute over the cleaning of two hawker centres under the Aljunied-Hougang-Punggol East Town Council.

"The town council has done an internal investigation when the allegation of someone wanting to collect additional charge for market cleaning was reported. And we found the claims to be baseless and what was revealed yesterday, the town council chairman Sylvia Lim has already responded robustly to the so-called new evidence.

Despite being shown the evidence that his Hammerrhoid “good office” has been soliciting extra money from the hawkers, the Towkay is determined to lie for them and to cover up for them.

What kind of “internal investigation” does the Hammerroids have when their Towkay and Chair’man’ openly admit that they do not know the difference between Annual Cleaning and Spring Cleaning; they have never spoken to their property manager about the dispute and; they have never know about any of the meeting between his “good office” and the hawkers.

This is the kind of “internal investigation” from a self-styled “First World Opposition”???!!! This is the so-called “First World” “Transparency” and “Accountability”???!!!
