8 teens arrested for fighting

Eight teens between the ages of 16 and 18 were arrested for fighting at Choa Chu Kang Grove Road, on May 5.
The police responded to a call for assistance at about 4.45pm, and found an injured 17-year-old at the scene. The teen claimed that he was assaulted by a group of boys.
Investigations revealed the identities of the suspects and led to their arrests on May 7.
If found guilty they can be jailed up 7 years and are also liable to be caned.
