Female caregiver secretly filmed an 80-year-old man going to the toilet, eight people will be charged for voyeurism

(Morning News) A 39-year-old female caregiver secretly took pictures of a 79-year-old man using the toilet twice. Seven other men, aged 23 to 52, were also suspected of voyeurism. Eight people will be charged in court on Thursday (October 27). .
The Singapore Police Force issued a statement on Wednesday (October 26) saying that on April 15, 2021, a 45-year-old man was accused of taking an upskirt photo of a 44-year-old woman at a food court on Orchard Road;
On May 7, 2021, a 37-year-old man was suspected of secretly filming a video of a 33-year-old woman's skirt bottom on an escalator at the Harbour Metro Station;
On July 20, 2021, a 27-year-old man was accused of using his mobile phone to peek at a 32-year-old woman taking a shower in a toilet of a house on Tampines Street 43;
On August 7, 2021, a 28-year-old man was accused of secretly filming a video of a 21-year-old woman's skirt on the Gao Wen subway escalator;
From September 2 to 26, 2021, a 52-year-old man was suspected of filming four videos of a 36-year-old woman in the toilet of a house in Boon Lai Fang;
On October 17, 2020, a 23-year-old man was accused of recording a 31-year-old woman in the toilet of a house in Choa Chu Kang Wan;
Between August 8, 2021 and June 20, 2022, a 27-year-old man was suspected of secretly filming six times, taking videos of five women in a residential toilet on Choa Chu Kang Avenue 4;
From April 18 to 22, 2022, a 39-year-old woman was suspected of taking two candid photos of a 79-year-old man in the toilet of a house on Punggol Middle Road. The woman was the man's caretaker.
The police stressed that voyeurism is still the focus of the police, and the authorities will severely punish sex offenders who threaten the safety of others.
