Raja Petra Kamaruddin Strikes Back With Videos

The first episode in a series of 14 episodes will be launched on 10 September 2009, the First Anniversary of my Internal Security Act detention last year, and thereafter probably on a weekly basis per episode.

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 7 – Fugitive blogger Raja Petra Kamarudin is taking his fight to the government with a series of video interviews that are expected to be posted on the Internet from this Thursday.

His popular Malaysia Today website began airing a trailer yesterday to promote the video interviews. In the short trailer, RPK, as he is popularly known, is shown talking about what he claims is government persecution against him.

“They already decided on my crime and the punishment I am getting without investigations,” he is shown saying.

He also comments on the continuing debate about Islam. He says in the trailer: “Muslims are the biggest enemies of Islam, not the kafir (infidels).”

The Malaysian Insider understands that the interview lasts for up to two hours, but is likely to have been edited down into a number of shorter segments.

It is unclear where the video interviews were recorded. RPK’s whereabouts remain a mystery.

Malaysian police are seeking the help of Interpol to apprehend him, suggesting the authorities believe he is overseas.

RPK went on the lam in April when he failed to turn up for his sedition trial. There is also a second warrant of arrest issued against him for failing to turn up for his criminal defamation trial in May.

Despite being a fugitive, RPK continues to taunt the authorities and remains a thorn in the side of the administration of Datuk Seri Najib Razak.

Both his sedition and criminal defamation trials are related to his allegations that Najib was involved in the murder of Altantuya Shaariibuu, the former mistress of the prime minister’s associate.

RPK continues to write regularly on his Malaysia Today website, giving his take on political developments and criticising the police and the Barisan Nasional (BN) government.

According to a news report in May, police said they believed RPK was in Brisbane, Australia, together with his wife.

But in July, a Sessions Court was told that RPK was believed to be in the country and not in Australia as reported by the media.

Deputy public prosecutor Mohd Dusuki Mokhtar said police investigation revealed that RPK, 59, had never left the country.

It is unclear if the video interviews will offer any clues as to RPK’s whereabouts.

We will be ready with our popcorns and colas !!!

NO HOLDS BARRED

Raja Petra Kamarudin

The company is called Carpet Raya Sdn Bhd (company number 492434-H). The paid up capital of the company is RM8.7 million. The company has five directors who are also the shareholders of the company; each holding almost equal shares in the company.

But I am interested in only one of its shareholders/directors who goes by the name of Deepak -- 37 years old, unmarried, and good-looking enough to qualify for a Bollywood movie.

The company was registered ten years ago on 26 August 1999. The last accounts filed with the Registrar of Companies on 24 November 2006 shows that the company has total assets of almost RM90 million, total liabilities of about RM67 million, and reserves of more than RM12 million.

The revenue of the company for 2005 was RM122 million and the profit in excess of RM7 million. Of course, the RM7 million profit is the official or declared profit. No company in Malaysia declares its real profits anyway. So, on a revenue base of RM122 million, you can expect the real or undeclared profit to be many times that.

But that was the accounts for 2005, which was four years ago. How much more has the company made over the last four years, which they prefer to keep hidden from public view? Take my word for it. We are talking about hundreds of millions here.

The company is supposed to be in the business of selling carpets. Is the carpet business really that lucrative that one can earn hundreds of millions? RM122 million a year is sure a lot of carpets. Ah, but that is not really what the company does for a living. The carpet business is just a front. Sure, they do sell carpets. But that is not where the real money is. The real business of the company is to act as the Bagman for Rosmah Mansor, the wife of the Prime Minister.

I met the Carpetman more than a year ago. He asked to meet through a mutual acquaintance because he was alarmed that I was about to reveal that the Carpetman is actually Rosmah’s Bagman. But that was not the thing that got him all flustered. What did was the revelation I was going to make that he is not only the Carpetman who is Rosmah’s Bagman but that he is also her Toyboy.

I only do business with Rosmah, said the Carpetman. My relationship with Rosmah is only for business purposes. I am not sleeping with Rosmah, he pleaded. So please do not tell the public that I am Rosmah’s Toyboy. The impression he wanted to make is that his relationship with Rosmah is confined to the boardroom and does not extend to the bedroom.

Well, that is not what Mumtaz Jaafar says. And who is Mumtaz Jaafar? Hey, if I start talking about her then I would also have to mention her relationship with Saiful, the person who alleges that Anwar Ibrahim sodomised him. And if I start talking about that then we will end up talking about the Sodomy 2 case as well. So let’s get back to the subject of the Carpetman, Rosmah’s Bagman cum Toyboy.

The whole country is very focused on Najib Tun Razak’s extramarital affairs. Sure, every Malaysian knows about this. And every Malaysian also knows about him getting caught in a Port Dickson hotel room with Ziana Zain. In fact, Isa Samad even had photographs of Najib clad only in a towel with the delicious young thing in his bed. And Isa handed the photograph over to the then Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad. (And that is why Mahathir just does not understand why Najib would choose Isa to contest the Bagan Pinang by-election when it was Isa who tried to bring Najib down with the photograph).

Anyway, let’s not digress too far. As I said, every Malaysian knows about Najib’s extramarital affairs. But how many also know that Rosmah has a penchant for Bollywood types. Hell, she will even arrange datukships for them if they treat her the way she loves to be treated, if you know what I mean. And this particular chap I am talking about, the Carpetman cum Bagman cum Toyboy, is far better looking than Shahrukh Khan (or is it Datuk Shahrukh Khan now?) -- not to mention younger as well.

Yes, I have been keeping this story under wraps for more than a year now. But it is now time that the story be told. There is more, though. Deepak the Carpetman cum Bagman cum Toyboy has been very naughty. And all these naughty deeds were done on behalf of Rosmah.

In due course more will be revealed about the role of the Carpetman and how he has served Rosmah. Today is not the time to do that though. So stay tuned for further episodes of the Carpetman cum Bagman cum Toyboy of the so-called First Lady of Malaysia.

Deepak Jaikishan was entrusted with the job of taking care of ex-police officer turned private investigator P. Balasubramaniam. Do you remember Bala? Bala was the individual who signed the very damaging Statutory Declaration linking Najib Tun Razak to Altantuya Shaariibuu.

Okay, and with that intro, it is now time to continue the story of the Carpetman cum Bagman cum Toyboy of the ‘First Lady’ who goes by the name of Deepak Jaikishan and reveal what naughty things he has done.

A few hours after Bala revealed his Statutory Declaration during a press conference on 3rd July 2008 he went missing. The following day he filed a second Statutory Declaration that contradicted his first one the day earlier. And then he disappeared totally.

(Read PI Bala missing, says nephew by The Star, 5th July 2008).

By the way, I also went to Rawang to meet Bala's nephew, R. Kumaresan, mentioned in this news report.

What many did not know is, even as Bala was giving his press conference just before lunch on 3rd July 2008, some security personnel were in front of his house in Rawang. They then kidnapped his family.

While Bala was enjoying his lunch a certain ASP Suresh phoned him and asked to meet. Bala was also told that his family’s safety was at stake if he refused to meet. Actually, Bala was having lunch with me at the time the phone call came in so I was sort of aware of what was happening, especially when I saw his face suddenly turn pale and he started panicking. And of course ‘they’ knew that I know and that is why they decided to go for me as well.

After Bala filed his second (and contradictory) Statutory Declaration, they whisked him out of the country and hid him in India. Deepak then paid Bala RM50,000 a month to buy his silence.

Bala had no choice, really. It was either RM50,000 a month and ‘retirement’ in India or suffer the same fate as Altantuya. And there was also his family to worry about -- so better the money than C4.

And with that all safely in place Deepak thought that he and the ‘First Lady’ could afford to live happily ever after without any further problems.

Little did they know that Bala was just biding his time, waiting for the right moment to strike back. And now he is striking back and has come out to reveal what really happened since the time he signed his first Statutory Declaration, followed by the second one the following day, 16 months ago.

Today, we are going to show you just a small part of what Bala has revealed. Yes, only a small part. And there is much more to reveal over the next month or so, all very damaging indeed.

In the meantime, until the real juicy parts are revealed, let us keep Seri Perdana in Putrajaya in suspense. Why should we allow them to sleep soundly? By the time we finish revealing everything there will not be a single Malaysian left who would any longer doubt Najib’s involvement with Altantuya.

As an appetiser, take a look at the copies of the cheques below which the Carpetman cum Bagman cum Toyboy called Deepak paid Bala. If Bala signed a false Statutory Declaration, as they claim he did, then why do they need to hide him in India and pay him RM50,000 a month?

Well they needed to do this because the first Statutory Declaration that Bala signed is true. And that’s why they needed him out of the way.

Yes, the Carpetman cum Bagman cum Toyboy is soon going to be in deep shit so stay tuned for more as the shit hits the fan good and proper.

Sleep soundly Putrajaya, wherever you are.

NO HOLDS BARRED

Raja Petra Kamarudin

THE MALAYSIAN MALAY

by Dr Syed Alwi of Singapore

As you know, I am an avid watcher of Malaysian affairs. I must confess that, lately, Malaysia appears to be failing. Not a day passes by without more events that clearly highlight Malaysia's race-religion fault-line. If things keep going this way, I fear for Malaysia's future.

Today, schools in Singapore celebrate Racial Harmony Day. I can visibly see the joy in the children's faces as they wear their ethnic costumes and have fun together at school. But in Malaysia - even the right to choose a religion has become a sensitive, national issue. No doubt, there are many in Malaysia who hate my liberal views on Islam; my family included. But I will say what I must say openly. I have come to the conclusion that Malaysia cannot progress any further without first addressing fundamental questions regarding its identity and soul.

I remember the days when we can laugh at Lat's cartoons on every day Malaysian life. But sadly the Islamic tide has polarised Malaysians.

Some people ask why I should bother about Malaysian affairs since I am a Singaporean. May I remind Malaysians that it was Tan Siew Sin who once said that Singapore and Malaysia are like Siamese Twins. Should Malaysia go down - it would hurt the region tremendously; especially Singapore.

Where do you think Malay apostates would head for if Lina Joy loses her case? Singapore of course! I find the Malaysian Malay to be very under-exposed. For them, it's all Islam and the NEP and everything else under the sun would sort itself out. I am sorry to say this - but Islam and the NEP may be the cause of the doing of the Malaysian Malay.

There is nothing wrong with religion or affirmative action. But, like everything else in life, they must be taken in moderation and with a pinch of salt. A little doubt is good. Unfortunately, in Malaysia, emotions over Islam have overcome reason. What we see today is the result of the NEP and Islamisation policies of the past thirty years or so.

No one owes Malaysian Malays a living. Let me assure you that should Malaysia fail - the Malaysian Malay will suffer enormously. And rightly so. After all, they have been pampered with all sorts of goodies over the years.

They cannot now expect more goodies. Perhaps the day of reckoning for them is near. Whatever it is, Malaysia had better wake up to the realities around her. The globalised world of the 21st century has no NEP to offer the Malaysian Malay. And humans cannot live by religion alone.

The above ‘letter to the editor’ was e-mailed to me by a dear friend. I did not receive it directly from Dr Syed Alwi. However, knowing the way he writes and knowing his views on the subject, this is clearly Dr Syed Alwi’s ‘trademark’.

I remember, about ten years or so ago, back in 1999 soon after Parti Keadilan Nasional (PKN) was launched, I suggested that the party invite the media representatives to tea at its headquarters for a meet-the-leaders session. Since I suggested the idea I was asked to compile a list of those to invite. The secretariat would make the other arrangements like food and so on.

That was the first time I met another dear friend face-to-face, the late Mr. MGG Pillai. Although I ‘knew’ him from reading his postings in Sang Kancil, his chat group, I had yet been able to sit down to talk to him ‘in the flesh’.

Mr. Pillai made a very valid observation. All the food we had prepared is ‘non-halal’, he said. Well, non-halal from the Hindu or vegetarian point of view. Everything had beef in it, even the vegetables. Since PKN is supposed to be a multi-racial party, why did it not cater for the non-meat eaters as well? Maybe some vegetarian food, or better still, a vegetarian table, so that Hindus or vegetarians could enjoy their food. None of the food being served is suitable for Hindus or vegetarians.

It suddenly dawned on me that Mr. Pillai was right. We invited people of various ethnicities and religious persuasions to our function. Yet we are not sensitive to their dietary requirements. When DAP organises a lunch or dinner, they always make sure that at least a couple of tables would be laid out with halal food. Not only the food was halal, but the caterers were also Muslims to offer that additional comfort to their Muslim guests that the food is absolutely kosher in all ways.

I apologised to Mr. Pillai and agreed that he is absolutely right. I then offered to make arrangements for one of the staff to quickly run down the road to look for a Hindu restaurant and buy some food. We could probably get a ‘halal’ section set up within 30 minutes or so.

Mr. Pillai said that that was not necessary. He was not complaining that he is not able to eat the ‘non-halal’ food that we had laid out for our guests from the media community. He was just bringing to my attention the principle of the whole thing -- in that as a multi-racial party we should be sensitive to and conscious of the needs of all communities.

Mr. Pillai then attacked the buffet table and filled his plate with chicken. So clearly he had no problems with the ‘non-halal’ food and clearly he was not upset about the matter, as I had first imagined, but was speaking merely on point of principle.

The following day, I brought this matter to the attention of the secretariat staff -- invariably who were all Malays and therefore Muslims. I suggested that next time we follow the example of DAP and make sure that we cater at least one table for Hindus and vegetarians -- like DAP normally does for its Muslim guests. Maybe the next time when we send invitations out we should ask the guests to indicate if they need a special diet arrangement so that we know the numbers we need to cater for.

The reply I received was that the food is halal as far as Muslims are concerned and that is all that matters.

Maybe so, I responded, but what is halal for Muslims may not be halal for Hindus, Buddhists, Jains, vegetarians and whatnot. So we need to consider their needs and sensitivities as well.

This is a Muslim country, came back the reply, so they will have to learn how to live with it.

I was stunned and did not know how to respond further. I realised it was futile to prolong this conversation with people who could not look beyond their very narrow selfish minds.

Malays whack the non-Malays for not being ‘sensitive’ to the feelings of Muslims. But does not being sensitive work both ways? Non-Malays are expected to be sensitive to the feeling of the Muslims. But Malays need not be sensitive to the feelings of non-Malays because this is a Muslim country. That is the ‘logic’ put forward.

And what is more frightening is that this is not the view of the minority. Many Malays think like this. But how do we impress upon the Malays that others will be sensitive to your feelings only when you are sensitive to theirs?

And this is why we have people like the Member of Parliament for Kulim, Zul Nordin, acting the way he does. This is because he only thinks of himself and the needs of the Muslims. He does not care a damn about the non-Muslims. To people like Zul Nordin, only Muslims count. Non-Muslims do not matter. Muslims can say what they like about the other religions -- even whack them to kingdom come. But if the people of the other faiths ‘slander’ or ‘insult’ Islam (and ‘slandering’ and ‘insulting’ would be according to how the Muslims perceive it in their minds; even if it is not true), then expect retaliation.

Malays would say, as Muslims, and since Islam is a religion of peace, they would tolerate other religions to co-exist, but only as long as the non-Muslims do not ‘trespass’ into Islam.

This may sound very accommodating to the Muslim mind. This demonstrates tolerance. But why, in the first place, do Muslims even imagine that they have to ‘tolerate’ other religions? Do Muslims not realise that by uttering a statement saying that you tolerate other religions that is already an insult?

Why tolerate? Would not tolerating something means you consider that particular issue as something bothersome? If your neighbour owns a dog and that dog strays into your garden to shit, but since it is your neighbour and you do not wish to make an issue out of it, you tolerate it.

So you tolerate the shit your neighbour’s dog left in your garden for the sake of maintaining a cordial relationship with that neighbour. But to also tolerate your neighbour’s non-Islamic religion means you equate his religion to dog shit.

But Malays will continuously say that Islam tolerates other religions without realising that the very use of the word ‘tolerate’ demonstrates what is in your very narrow and selfish mind.

Zul Nordin has made a police report against the PAS Member of Parliament for Shah Alam, Khalid Samad. But Khalid is not alone is his views. Khalid’s views are shared by many other top PAS leaders, Tok Guru Nik Aziz included. Will Zul now also make a police report against Tok Guru?

Tok Guru has invited about 200 religious leaders of all faiths for a meal and to sit down for what can be considered an inter-faith get-together. I know Zul is against inter-faith dialogues. He led the demonstration outside the Malaysian Bar Council office to oppose inter-faith dialogues. In fact, he gatecrashed the gathering and uttered very threatening and seditious remarks.

Well, Tok Guru has taken steps to improve inter-faith understanding, something Zul is opposed to. Should not Zul now make another police report and organise a demonstration in front of Tok Guru’s venue and gatecrash the event and shout and scream threats at Tok Guru?

Tok Guru is the man Umno labels an extremist, outdated, ‘Taliban’, and whatnot. But Tok Guru has demonstrated more maturity than Zul could ever do in 100 years.

Malays need to reflect on all this. In fact, they need to do a huge load of reflecting. Most times Malays make statements without even thinking. But these statements they make are ‘sincere’, in that this is really the way they think and they are just being ‘honest’ about what is in their mind.

What would the Malays do if we ban the use of the word ‘tolerate’? What if you are no longer permitted to say that ‘Islam tolerates other religions’? How would you now rephrase that statement minus the word ‘tolerate’?

Yes, and with that I will leave you and allow you to ponder on this ‘problem’.
