Interesting that TT is holding his only election rally as a lunch time session at Boat Quay next to UOB Plaza...his team is hoping that curious white-collar workers in the vicinity will show up. The limited space will allow appropriate photo cropping to magnify the size of the crowd. It will not prove as startling a difference cf to the thousands who are likely to show up at the night-time rallies of the other three Tans in heartland stadiums. Any ferrying of supporters can also be disguised as the buses will not be parked in the neighbourhood and be spotted...clap clap clap....

Will not be surprised to also see a quickened release of the Ministerial Salary Panel recommendations between now and 27 August with a more than expected "discount " from present lofty remuneration amounts...after all there are no growth ang pows available for the EP 2011 but there is still need to assuage public unhappiness over the electricity tariff and public transport fare hikes, not to mention continued high HDB prices and resentment over the FT influx

Good opportunity to distribute hard truths about TT, isnt it? Will be good if someone can print out and distribute to the rally attendees a short summary about why TT should not be chosen...
