Is there such thing as a First World government? The US, which theSDP panders to, is so-called first world. Yes, first in contributing to global pollution but not agreeing to Climate Change targets. First to promote Human Rights but imprisons so-called terrorists in Cuba and tortures them. First to argue with others ot to fight but illegally invades another country.

A first world government is one that truly care and protect its citizens, through a legal framework and robust economic structure.
That's United States of America for you.
Singapore do care for its citizens too. Just that you need meet their criteria to succeed in this tiny country.
